Access Architecture was created to do more than provide professional services. The 5+ Project is an integral part of our identity, and encourages employees to spend a minimum of 5% of work hours dedicated to community-based initiatives, with a strong emphasis on volunteering. This time is paid for by the firm, and is found to be rewarding for employees in addition to the non-profit entities that it benefits. It is our hope that this business model can become a precedent for other professional service firms, helping address the disconnect between an office job and the desire to make a more personal and tangible impact on others.
